Claimed weaknesses:
Beach wave surfing
Favorite Food:

Team:
P&H Sea kayak, Gath Helmets, Lendal and Kokatat
Favorite trip:
The Great Northern Peninsula, Newfoundland 2015. An amazing trip along this rugged section of Newfoundland.
Worst trip:
7 days of rain on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia, bugs and rain plus clients who did not want to be there made for a miserable trip.
Favorite person to paddle with:
Team Core Members
Scariest kayak moment:
Watching a sea kayak explode after hitting a solid granite wall.
Your Dream trip:
To paddle the rugged island of Baffin Island
Biggest influencers:
Carol Lockyer my mother. Without her I would not be the person I am today.
Andy Stamp had been a mentor of mine for years. He taught me the importance of quality coaching on and off the water.
Sid Sinfield has been helped with my development as a coach giving me loads of time to help me with coaching concepts and theory behind coaching.
Nick Cunliffe has provided me with a vast amount of knowledge when teaching technical paddling skills. His understanding of the sport is amazing and I value knowledge I have gain from him on and off the water.
Big plans for the next 6 months/year:
Newfoundland Expedition where we will paddle the Baie Verte Peninsula , Crossing of the Bay of Fundy for a cancer fundraiser. On August 4, 2018 Committed 2 the Core team members Christopher Lockyer and Daniel Archibald will paddle across the Bay of Fundy to raise monies for cancer support, with 75% of the funds going to the QEII Foundation for breast cancer research and 25% of the funds being given to St. Martha’s Regional Hospital to provide support to families who are going through cancer treatment. The paddle will start in Saint John, New Brunswick and the route will end at Deep Brook, Nova Scotia. The total distance for the crossing is 86 km. https://www.committed2thecore.com/mudders-udders/
